In September 2025, the longest total lunar eclipse since 2022 will take place.
The Berlin Planetarium Foundation is once again organizing an interesting programme to coincide with the lunar eclipse: At the Archenhold Observatory and the Wilhelm Foerster Observatory, interested visitors can look forward to events and live observations through the telescopes.
There will also be live streams with commentary. The solar eclipse will last a total of 3 hours and 18 minutes and will take place between 19:37 and 22:55. The next partial lunar eclipse will not take place until August 28, 2026.
