At the Chili Fest in spring at the Berliner Berg Brewery, everything revolves around the spicy vegetable and craft beer.

At the Chili Fest, market stalls sells chili pepper related products and provide hot sauces for tasting. The public will be entertained by live music, comedy, a fire show and beer garden games. A children's play area is set up for kids. The festival's BBQ & Food Trucks will offer cocktails, spicy wings and delicious dishes to satisfy your appetite while the Berliner Berg Brewery will provide the accompanying craft beer.

Contest for the Best Homemade Hot Sauce

Ambitious home cooks can enter the food festival's very own hot sauce contest on Saturday afternoon. Simply bring your homemade (non-commercial) hot sauce along with you. A jury will do a taste test and announce the contest winners on Sunday.
