From the internationally renowned Berlinale to smaller festivals revolving around a particular genre or country, Berlin's film festivals offer many highlights for cineastes and movie lovers. more
The Albanian Film Festival is the first festival of its kind in the capital and is dedicated to contemporary Albanian cinema. Over the course of five days, around 20 films will be shown, bringing together different perspectives from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and the diaspora. Thematically, the contributions range from questions of identity and migration to social and historical developments.
