In November, the Namibian capital Windhoek and Berlin will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their city partnership. From November 17 to 23, Berlin will present a diverse program with over 30 events, ranging from exhibitions and theater performances to guided tours, dialogue formats, and workshops. The focus will be on topics such as remembrance culture, education, science, and contemporary art. The program sheds light on Germany's colonial past and its impact on Namibia, while also sending a signal for a vibrant culture of remembrance and future-oriented cooperation.
