Klavierfest Weißensee

The Klavierfest Weißensee piano festival is an annual classical music event. Each year, the festival focuses on a different renowned composer.

Under the theme “Franz Schubert – Between Worlds,” the 2027 Klavierfest Weißensee will explore Schubert’s works from various perspectives. The focus will be on the interplay between words and sound. The festival invites guests to experience Schubert’s ever-changing music from new perspectives time and again, journeying through musical spaces and times.

Klavierfest Weißensee 2027: Program

As is tradition, Artistic Director Eri Mantani opens the festival with a piano recital that brings Schubert and Beethoven into dialogue with one another. On Saturday, the song duo Conrad/Prinz will explore Schubert’s song repertoire with “Abendröte reimagined.” In addition, the program features a family concert and a free lecture-recital. To conclude the festival, Sergei Redkin will perform his own piano arrangement of Schubert’s “Die schöne Müllerin” on Sunday evening.
