Open Days at Hamburger Bahnhof

The Hamburger Bahnhof is celebrating its fourth Open Days with a free entertainment program.

Hamburger Bahnhof is thanking the public and presenting its work with music, guided tours, workshops, tours, dance and more. Over the course of the three days, more than 120 guided tours and workshops will be offered. The free summer music program "Berlin Beats" also starts on the open day. During the festival, visitors receive free admission to the museum on all three days.

Opening of the exhibition “A Thousand Times Berlin”

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Hamburger Bahnhof, the West Wing will open on Friday at 5 pm with a new exhibition of the National Gallery’s collection for the 21st century. “A Thousand Times Berlin” features over 70 works by more than 50 artists, showcasing the Berlin art scene from 1989 to the present day.

Open House at Hamburger Bahnhof: Selected Program Highlights*

• Opening of Berlin Beats on Friday at 7 p.m. in the museum garden with a DJ set by Kikelomo
• Backstage tours of the Hamburger Bahnhof on all three days
• In the garden workshops, visitors can design T-shirts using screen printing and take them home
• Open forró dancing in the courtyard on Saturday at 4 p.m.
• Inclusion tango for people with and without disabilities. With live music and free dancing on Sunday at 4 p.m.
• BVG Orchestra concert on Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon
