Berlin Beats

The museum garden in front of the Hamburger Bahnhof is transformed into an open air stage for "Berlin Beats".

Free of charge and under the open Berlin sky, experimental sound and hard-hitting beats resound in the museum's garden. The concerts last three hours each and are part of the Berlin Summer of Culture 2024.

Berlin Beats 2024: Program

• Friday, 07 June 2024 (from 6 p.m.): DJ and music producer Oda Haliti combines old-school vibes with cutting-edge beats.
• Thursday, 20 June 2024: DJ Akua has her roots in North American techno, but embodies a sonic power that resonates worldwide.
• Thursday, 27 June 2024: Ellen Allien combines techno, rave and dance music culture with her unique DNA.
• Thursday, 04 July 2024: The electronic music of producer and composer RUI HO builds a bridge between modern club music and traditional Chinese sounds.
• Thursday, 11 July 2024: Electronic luminary Darren Cunningham aka Actress creates a sound that cannot be imitated with a combination of elements from techno, electro, R&B and concrète.
• Thursday, 18 July 2024: Marie Montexier's sound is smooth and dynamic, combining electrifying grooves from all eras and corners of the world.
• Thursday, 25 July 2024: Inspired by the warmth of analog sounds, Shaleen only plays vinyl sets.
• Thursday, 01 August 2024: Only Jaber's home Beirut, Lebanon, serves as a constant inspiration for her creativity. The deep emotional connection to her art is what makes her distinctive and characteristic production sound, which often includes her own vocals.
• Thursday, 08 August 2024: Queer and non-conforming, DJ Deepneue celebrates a transgressive and sweaty vision of techno in the post-Covid era, genderless and carrying an energetic force into dance music and the future.
• Thursday, 15 August 2024: Nick Höppner found a creative home in Berlin at the beginning of the millennium. He is considered one of the cornerstones of today's house and techno scene.
• Saturday, 24 August 2024: Ukrainian artist Alis mixes a wide variety of genres from groovy 90s techno, ghetto tech, hard house, 2000s trance and more.
• Thursday, 29 August 2024: The sets of musician, producer and media artist Orson Sieverding are unmistakably characterized by dub, the rhythm, bass and sound of London's sound systems and their Caribbean influences.
