Soundscapes in the Garden

The sculpture garden of the Neue Nationalgalerie is transformed into an open-air stage during the summer.

With “Sound in the Garden”, the Neue Nationalgalerie resumed and expanded the historic “Jazz in the Garden” event series in 2022. Jazz in the Garden took place from the 1970s to the mid-1980s. The live performances are inspired by the current exhibitions. This was followed in 2025 by the further development of "Sound scapes in the Garden".
