The Water Festival at Rummelsburg Bay has become a popular tradition and attracts mostly families to Lichtenberg.
The programme features music, entertainment and hands-on activities for the whole family. With a food court offering a variety of tasty treats, no one will go hungry. Martin Schaefer, Mayor of the Lichtenberg district, is the patron of the event and will open the festival on Friday.
The traditional dragon boat race on Lake Rummelsburg will not take place in 2026. Furthermore, no major events are planned on the water.
