The Ultraschall festival for new music will once again take place in various locations in Berlin in 2026.
At the Ultraschall Festival (Ultrasound Festival), contemporary music from the Haus des Rundfunks, Heimathafen Neukölln and Radialsystem V is performed on five concert evenings. Every year, a successful mix of established ensembles, experimental positions and exciting newcomers take to the stage.
The festival for new music organized by Deutschlandfunk Kultur and rbbKultur has been taking place for over 20 years. Ultraschall sees itself as a forum that understands contemporary music as an art form in its own right. In the course of the festival, premieres alternate with new interpretations.
