Winter swimming of the Berliner Seehunde

Into the cold water, in costume: hardy winter swimmers from the Berliner Seehunde (Berlin Seals) take to the Orankesee in good spirits in mid-January.

The traditional Eisfasching Ice Carnival) will take place for the 40th time in 2026, probably again on the second Saturday in January. Guests who prefer to watch in warm clothes and don't want to get into the water are also welcome. Provided with snacks and drinks, they can cheer on the brave ice swimmers.
