Moon Festival in the Gardens of the World

In honor of the moon, the Gardens of the World are offering entertainment for the whole family during the Moon Festival.

At the end of September, the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated at Gardens of the World. The program in the Chinese Garden and on the adjacent Confucius Meadow will feature music, dance, treats and various hands-on activities. Of course, traditional moon cakes will also be on hand. A special highlight is a performance by artists from the Chinese province of Hubei.

Lantern parade and laser show at the Moon Festival

In the evening, the traditional lantern parade takes place, winding its way from Confucius Meadow to the arena and accompanied by a large dragon. The event concludes with a spectacular laser show in the open-air arena.
