The Kenako Festival takes place each year on Berlin's Alexanderplatz. A traditional marketplace with tents and a live stage program offers visitors a taste of Africa.

The spirit of African cultures is coming to Berlin. At the market square, visitors can purchase handmade artwork, clothing, cosmetics and culinary delights. The stage will feature a cultural program of music, dance and theater. In addition, as part of the Global Learning project, workshops, readings, film screenings and panel discussions are on the schedule.
