This Christmas market in Berlin's western center is worth a visit while shopping on famous Kurfürstendamm.
The Christmas market around Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church on Breitscheidplatz welcomes its visitors with more than 100 beautifully decorated market stalls From classic decorations to glass and bronze art and lovingly crafted toys, this Christmas market has it all. For the younger visitors, there are carousels and amusement rides.
Naturally, visitors of this Christmas market will not go hungry. Around the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the smell of mulled wine, gingerbread and candied fruit lingers in the air. Heartier cravings will be satisfied with a traditional bratwurst, steak or mushroom stir-fry.
