In 2025, Goldnetz's Social Christmas Market took place at two locations for the first time. The locations for 2026 are not yet known.
At Stadtschloss Moabit, people on low incomes can purchase lovingly crafted Christmas gifts. Decorations, toys, fashion, accessories, and more: every item on offer has been sustainably produced or recycled and tells its own unique story.
The Christmas market is aimed at people whose net income is below €1,148 per month. Visitors who wish to make purchases at the stalls must therefore bring and present their "proof of eligibility," citizen's income notice, pension notice, or proof of income, as well as their ID card. In 2025, two social Christmas markets were held for the first time: on December 3, interested parties could find what they were looking for in Spandau.
