Every December it gets Christmassy at the Goldnetz social market. The Social Christmas Market is primarily aimed at people with low incomes.

This year, the Spandau Social Christmas Market will take place at the Protestant parish of Staaken. Handmade or refurbished products from the Goldnetz workshops can be purchased at the Christmas market for little money. The range includes Christmas items, knitwear, jewelry, toys, leather goods and more.

Social Christmas Market for low-income earners

The Christmas market is aimed at people whose net income is less than 11,148 euros per month. Visitors who wish to purchase something at the stalls must therefore bring and show their Berechtigungsnachweis (proof of authorization), citizen's benefit notification, pension notification or proof of income as well as their identity card. In 2025, two social Christmas markets took place for the first time: on 4 December, interested visitors could find what they were looking for at Moabit City Palace.
