The Berlin Academy of Arts, located near the Berlin Zoo in Berlin-Charlottenburg, is the largest university of the arts in Germany and one of the largest in Europe. Art lovers can experience works by the students at numerous events.

In over 300 years of eventful history, the Universität der Künste (Academy of Arts) has grown into a unique meeting place for art and science. With its four faculties of Fine Arts, Design, Music and Performing Arts and the Central Institute for Continuing Education, the UdK Berlin covers the entire spectrum of the arts and related sciences and offers ideal conditions for interdisciplinary thinking and working. Its various locations are mainly in Charlottenburg, Schöneberg and Wilmersdorf.

Academy of Arts as cultural organizer

In over 500 events each year, teachers and students of the UdK Berlin present their work to the public - many of which are considered a permanent fixture in Berlin's cultural calendar.
