Paper Positions

Selected international galleries present their most important positions from contemporary and modern art at Paper positions, with a focus on the material paper.

At the art fair in Deutsche Telekom Hauptstadtrepräsentanz drawings, collages, silhouettes, texts, photographs and artist's books are exhibited.

Presentation of the Paper Art Award

The Paper Art Award will once again be presented as part of this year's Paper Positions. The awards ceremony took place for the third time in 2023. The award is given to artists who deal with paper as a material in an outstanding and stimulating way. The prize money amounts to a total of 36,000 euros.

Leue & Nill Award

In 2022, the Leue & Nill Award was presented at Paper Positions for the first time. The gallery with the best presentation, which includes the works shown as well as the curatorial performance and the works' professional hanging at the booth, receives the prize.
