Fährhaus Saatwinkel

A little further away from the city center, but a romantic sunset spot: the Fährhaus Saatwinkel on Tegeler See.

In spring, the beer garden opens its lakeside terrace with a wide view of the lake. The summer menu includes small dishes - often with fish - snacks, draught beer, wine, aperitifs and cocktails.

History of the Fährhaus

When tugboat traffic increased at the confluence of the Berlin-Spandau shipping canal and Tegeler See in Saatwinkel and the mast cranes no longer had to be used, the former crane master's house was licensed for the first time in 1882 and the Kran- or later Fährhaus Saatwinkel was henceforth to be used mainly as a bar.
