Berlinale Presale 2023: Where and How to Buy Tickets
Advance sales and online tickets: a guide to buying tickets for the Berlinale festival films.

More than 400 films will be shown during the 73rd Berlinale, which will take place in Berlin from February 16 to February 26, 2023. Advance ticket sales always begin in early February. The complete festival program will be published on February 07, 2023. The ticket presale always starts on the following Monday, in this case on February 13 at 10 am.
Online Ticket Presale
According to the festival organizers, tickets can be booked exclusively online via the Berlinale website this year. There will be no ticket sales at theater box offices or ticket counters. The tickets will be released for sale three days before the respective screening.
Ticket Prices
Regular prices:
Tickets for the Berlinale cost between €11 and €18, depending on the venue.
Prices for children's movies:
Tickets for the Generation Kplus children's and youth program are available for €6.
Discounts:
School and university students, people with disabilities, unemployed people, citizens' income (Bürgergeld) recipients, Berlin Ticket holders, and participants in the Federal Volunteer Service receive a discount (subject to availability). Appropriate proof of status must be presented at the entrance.
