Berlinale Presale 2026: Where and How to Buy Tickets

Advance sales and online tickets: a guide to buying tickets for the Berlinale festival films.

Advance ticket sales for the films at the 76th Berlinale usually begin three days before the start of the film festival. The Berlinale will take place from February 12 to 22, 2026.

Ticket Presale

Tickets can be booked online again this year via the Berlinale program. Tickets will be released at 10 a.m. three days before each screening. Tickets can also be purchased at theater box offices. A maximum of two tickets can be purchased per person per screening. Up to five tickets can be purchased for screenings in the Generation category.

Tickets for screenings on Berlinale Audience Day on 22 February 2026 and for the Uber Eats Music Hall will be available from 9 February 2026.

Payment can be made by credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Wero or Google Pay. Tickets can be printed out and presented at the venue or scanned via a mobile device (QR code).

Ticket Prices

Regular prices:
Tickets for the Berlinale cost between €15 and €20, depending on the venue.

Prices for children's movies:
Tickets for the Generation children's and youth program are available for €9 (concessions €6).

Audience day:
One day is Berlinale Audience Day. All screenings can be attended for €11 (concessions €8). Films from the Generation program are excluded and cost €9 (concessions €6).

Concessions:
Pupils, students, people with disabilities, unemployed persons, recipients of citizen's income, holders of the Berlin Ticket, and participants in the Federal Voluntary Service receive a discount (subject to availability). Appropriate proof must be presented at the entrance.
