They all live on the same street, but their paths have never crossed. Until now. Because a storm is brewing on the horizon... Let Them Eat Chaos is a long poem and also the second studio album by British poet and spoken word artist Kae Tempest. In a dense, lyrical composition, Tempest combines poetry, social analysis, and musical energy to create a powerful wake-up call. With radical honesty and great empathy, Tempest tells of alienation, social inequality, and the mental exhaustion of our late modern society, while at the same time opening up a space for hope: for encounter, change, and a different kind of togetherness. Director Sebastian Nübling brings Tempest's work to the stage as a performative exploration. In the chamber, seven characters—perhaps also themselves—meet for the first time. The result is a poetically charged evening of theater about the chaos of our time and what might connect us in it.
