Half Marathon Berlin-Reinickendorf

The beautiful district of Reinickendorf in the northeast of Berlin is the venue for the half marathon of the same name. Two shorter distances are also on offer.

Over exactly 21.0975 kilometers, the Half Marathon Berlin-Reinickendorf (formerly Mercedes-Benz Half Marathon) leads through the district of Reinickendorf in the northeast of Berlin. The race starts at 9 a.m. Those who prefer a shorter distance can also participate in a 10-kilometer run or a 5.6-kilometer run. For children under the age of twelve, a mini half marathon over a distance of 2.3 kilometers is offered. The latest finish time for all runs is at 12 noon. The running event is organized by three Reinickendorf sports clubs: VfL Tegel, Rowing Club Tegel and VfB Hermsdorf.

Berlin-Reinickendorf Half Marathon Route

The starting point of the half marathon is Reinickendorf City Hall. From there, the route continues through the allotment garden area of Borsigwalde and along Berliner Straße to Alt-Tegel. Passing the village church of Alt-Tegel, the route leads along the Greenwich Promenade at Lake Tegel to Borsigdamm, through the Mosaikbogen, the business and commercial center An den Borsighallen and along Berliner Straße to the finish line. Participants of the half marathon run the course twice.
