Berliner Tafellauf

Running event

Participants of the Berliner Tafellauf in front of the Brandenburger Tor

The Berliner Tafellauf is taking place again. Participants start at different starting points with varying distances.

The charity run of the food bank Berliner Tafel was launched in 2021. During the joint running event, participants bring suitable donations such as food and hygiene products to the starting points and transport them (with transport assistance) to the Berliner Tafel headquarters at the Berlin wholesale market. The Berliner Tafellauf is an inclusive run that focuses on togetherness. Speed is not important. All groups reach the finish line at approximately the same time. After refreshments and a thank-you speech, Tafel founder Sabine Werth offers a tour of the Berliner Tafel.
