At the first Kerb Food Hall in Berlin, urban gourmets can enjoy street food at its finest.
In the former IMAX cinema in the Center am Potsdamer Platz, street food traders come together on two floors with their innovative gastronomic concepts. Butter Bronson's with its legendary Buttermilk Fried Chicken is there, as is the unique 40-metre-long cheese treadmill bar Pick & Cheese. Pannek seine Budike is offering new Berlin cuisine and Fräulein Kimchi is serving spicy bibimbap bowls. Jian Bing offers Chinese breakfast crêpes made from mung bean dough, Kasuteira sells Japanese dessert art. And there are other unusual specialties to sample. In addition to the culinary offerings, there are two bars in the modern food hall where people like to meet for an after-work drink. Live events and pop-ups as well as a rooftop terrace complete the lively ambience.
Kerb was first established in 2012 as a small pop-up market by street food traders on the streets of London. Kerb has since achieved cult status and is now an influential movement in the British food scene, with international food halls and the Seven Dials Market. Kerb Berlin is the first food hall outside the UK.
