Under the theme "Stage Magic for Your Wardrobe," a two-day sale of approximately 3,500 theater costumes will take place at the Wilma.

At the auction in the shopping arcade Wilma, original handmade costumes from television, variety shows, opera and theater will be offered for sale. Among them are garments from the Deutsches Theater in Berlin, the Staatstheater Hannover, the Deutsches Fernsehballett and the Friedrichstadtpalast as well as many other costumes from various productions. One special item is Harald Juhnke's legendary tuxedo. The Berlin entertainer's tailor-made suit and patent leather shoes will be auctioned off with a minimum bid of 500 euros. Most costumes cost between 1 and 99 euros. Only a few special pieces are priced higher. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Mariaschutz Children's and Youth Center run by Caritas Family and Youth Services.
