Whether with or without "Myfest", many party-goers are drawn to Mariannenplatz in Kreuzberg on the first of May.
This year, party-goers can celebrate May Day at the ‘Slust Openair’ open-air rave. A rally and the traditional May Day celebration organised by the Left Party will also take place at Mariannenplatz.
The programme for the May Festival in Kreuzberg features not only open-air music, but also a variety of speeches speaking out against fascism, racism and exclusion. There are also age-appropriate activities for families with children, such as children’s theatre and face painting. Musically, visitors can look forward to rap, hip hop and plenty of techno. Among others, the following will be performing: Fake Bombs, Desiderat, Ivo der Bandit, DJ Gysi, Eurobabes, Grace Thompson, Sikhaya, Epicx and Diana May.
