During potato harvest time, the open-air museum Domäne Dahlem invites you to its Kartoffelfest (Potato Festival). Visitors can harvest their own organic potatoes in the fields of the historic estate and take them home with them or cook and enjoy them directly on site in the potato fire. Those who prefer crispy potatoes can make their own potato chips from the peelings. A look behind the scenes in the depot barn shows historical agricultural machinery and harvesting methods from the past. Music, exhibitions and arts and crafts round off the festival.
