The Vierte Welle Film Festival brings new perspectives to the screen - with short films on diversity, equality and social change.
The Vierte Welle Film Festival (Fourth Wave Film Festival) is an international feminist and queer short film festival. It offers filmmakers from all over the world a platform to question established norms and explore new narrative styles. The festival will take place for the fifth time in 2025 and once again sets an example for gender equality, diversity and the fight against discrimination. This year's categories are Queer, Activism, Me Too and Berlin Migrant.
The festival will be officially opened on Friday evening at the Hotel Gat Point Charlie. On Saturday and Sunday, the film screenings will take place at Lichtblick Kino, followed by Q&A sessions. The festival will conclude on Sunday with a celebration in the Two Fellas Bar in Pankow.
