“The Best Mother in the World” is the opening film of the 25th FrauenWelten.

The "FrauenWelten" film festival at the Kulturbrauerei shows over 30 films about women who fight for human rights, self-determination and against violence.
More than 30 films by both female and male directors from more than 20 countries will be screened at the 25th film festival until the end of October. There will also be a reading and guided tours of the city.
This year's festival opens with the feature film “The Best Mother in The World,” a feminist road movie about courage and self-determination.
Since 2001, Terre des Femmes has organized the annual "Women's Worlds" film festival, which focuses on the human rights situation of women worldwide. Since 2020, the festival, which was originally founded in Tübingen, has been held in Berlin.
