Paternal Leave

Filmstill: Paternal Leave by Alissa Jung

Subtle humor, joie de vivre and sometimes blunt realism: The Italian Film Festival brings Italian cinema to Berlin.

In 2025, the Italian Film Festival will take place in Berlin for the 12th time. Around 10 films will be shown in competition, some of which will celebrate their German premiere at the festival. The program is complemented each year by a retrospective as well as events of the Italian culture and tourism promotion.
