The Women's Basketball World Championship will be held in Berlin in 2026.
In September 2026, Berlin will be transformed into the center of international women's basketball. Under the motto "Time for her Game", the tournament will focus on female empowerment, equality and diversity. 16 national teams will compete for the world championship title in the Uber Arena and the Max-Schmeling-Halle.
The tournament will begin with a group stage before moving on to exciting knockout rounds and the grand final. As the host country, Germany has automatically qualified and will be back on the biggest stage in international women's basketball for the first time since 1998.
