Due to their work behind the scenes, restorers usually remain hidden from the art-interested public. On the European Day of Conservation-Restoration, the stage belongs to them.

This year, the Europe-wide day is taking place for the 9th time. In Berlin, restorers from numerous museums will provide exciting insights into their demanding work, which is essential for the preservation of art and cultural assets. The 2025 motto was: "We preserve what moves us".
