Ukrainian Christmas Festival on Grazer Platz

Shortly before the Christmas holidays, the Nathanaelkirche on Grazer Platz in Schöneberg invites you to a Ukrainian Christmas celebration. The five-day program offers a mixture of music, traditional food, workshops and an exhibition on the history of Ukrainian Christmas.

In 2024, the festival opened on Thursday, December 19 with a performance by the Ukrainische Kapelle (Ukrainian Chapel) in Berlin and a reading by the "Voices of Ukraine" project. On December 20, there was a nativity play by the Sollis children's theater and a concert by the band Mavka. A special highlight of the event was the joint singing of traditional Christmas carols on Sunday, December 22. All events were held on a donation basis for the benefit of the Ukrainian Orthodox parish, which used the proceeds to purchase humanitarian aid supplies.
