In 2025, the Bauhaus Archive will present two special concerts at Musikfest Berlin. The first concert, titled "From Bauhaus to Broadway," will feature pieces by George Antheil, Paul Hindemith, Kurt Weill, and Marc Blitzstein. These artists were closely associated with the Bauhaus and, like many others, fled the National Socialists for the USA, where they pursued new artistic avenues, often on Broadway. Afterwards, the world premiere of Marc Blitzstein's opera Parabola and Circula will take place in the main hall of the Philharmonie.
