A Night at the Cemetery in Kreuzberg

Mourning angel and cross in a cemetery

The historic Dreifaltigkeit II cemetery in Kreuzberg is transformed into an atmospheric stage for a summer evening full of culture during the Cemetery Night.

The cemetery in Bergmannstraße is home to the graves of numerous celebrities - such as Martin Gropius, Charlotte von Kalb, Theodor Mommsen, Adolph von Menzel and Friedrich Schleiermacher. They are honoured in a special way during the cemetery night: readings, musical performances, hands-on activities and drama performances take place at selected gravesites. The cemetery will also be atmospherically illuminated for the evening.
