An atmospheric evening sky over the bell tower in the Tiergarten

The Whitsun Carillon features free classical concerts in the Tiergarten.

The Carillon in Berlin-Tiergarten is a large, hand-played concert carillon with 68 bells. On Whit Sunday and Whit Monday, carilloneur Jeffrey Bossin plays the carillon from 4 p.m. The program includes Whitsun chorales, May and spring songs by Beer, Grieg, classical works by Bach and more. For those who don't want to wait until Whitsun: a computer-controlled automaton plays daily at 12 noon and 6 p.m.
