The Berlin Police Department is once again hosting an open day at the Ruhleben police station in 2026.
The open day will feature a variety of presentations on the work of the Berlin police, as well as an entertaining program for young and old alike. As always, the highlights will be demonstrations by the special operations unit (SEK) and displays by the police dogs.
The police open house is intended to be a family event, which is why there is a special program for families and children. Young visitors can look forward to children's attractions, music, and shows. In addition, refreshments will be available at family-friendly prices in the garden.
At the event, the Berlin Police present the wide variety of tasks it performs. Nine different theme parks showcase the areas of traffic, victim protection and senior citizen safety, protection against burglary/car theft, emergency situations and emergency resources, alcohol and drugs, hotspot work, the police as an employer, training and studies, and the State Criminal Police Office.
