Berlin E-Prix: Formula E Race in Berlin

The race of the all-electric motorsport series Formula E will take place in Berlin again in 2024. The venue will be the former Tempelhof Airport.

The Formula E cars, which can produce up to 340 hp, accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in under three seconds, but are generally barely louder than a normal passenger car. Their top speed is up to 280 km/h.

Formula E Racing Series in Berlin

The official championship "Shell Recharge Berlin E-Prix" consists of 14 races, which will be held in 12 different cities around the world. Berlin will again be the venue for one of these events.

Berlin as a Leading City for Electric Mobility

The former Senator for Economics, Technology and Research, Cornelia Yzer, had welcomed the Formula E competitions of the FIA in Berlin: "Berlin as an international city and leading metropolis of electric mobility is perfectly suited as a venue for Formula E. We are pleased to host the event in this cosmopolitan city and to present Berlin for new and innovative technologies. Formula E will inspire more people to embrace electromobility."
