Barrel organ players from over 10 countries will be taking part in this year's International Barrel Organ Festival Berlin. They come from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Denmark, England, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and the USA. The parade usually takes place on Kurfürstendamm and the meeting on the square between the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and the Europa Centre. This year, however, the popular festival is moving to Prenzlauer Berg. The festival centre this time is the Museum Pankow on Prenzlauer Allee. The highlight is the "Parade of barrel organ players" on Saturday at 11 a.m. from Bleibtreustraße from the Kollwitzplatz water tower to the Pankow Museum. A colorful barrel organ stage program will be offered there from 12 noon.
