The Triennial of Modernism is a supra-regional and multi-national festival and network on building culture and the ideas of emerging, classic, mid century and late modernism.
The Triennial of Modernism takes place in Berlin, Dessau, and Weimar. In 2025, the focus was once again on the capital, with Berlin hosting the opening event. The motto for 2025 was "Torn Modernism(s)," referring to the forced migration of the Bauhaus from Weimar to Dessau, while also addressing current political debates.
