Evolving from the popular German-French Fair, the "Berliner Volksfestsommer" promises a fun day out for friends, couples and families. There is lots of entertainment with about 150 performers, rides and rollercoastes including the "Rock & Roller Coaster", a ghost train, and the "Poseidon" water ride. The central food and party village tempts visitors with music and treats such as tarte flambée, Thuringian rostbratwurst and garlic baguette.
Grand display of fireworks
One of the fair's highlights are the impressive fireworks every Saturday. In the evening the sky over the festival ground sparkles in many colours - a beautiful show for both old and young.
