The largest folk festival in Berlin, formerly the German-French Fair, attracts visitors with amusement rides and culinary delicacies.

Evolving from the popular German-French Fair, the "Berliner Volksfestsommer" promises a fun day out for friends, couples and families. This year, the funfair takes place for the 61st time already.

60 Rides for Young and Old Visitors

The folk festival promises lots of entertainment with fast-paced roller coasters and many rides. Highlights include the Atlantis Rafting white water ride, the High Explosive family rollercoaster, the Gladiator giant propeller, the High Sky Ferris wheel and the Daemonium chamber of horrors. Classic amusement rides such as Auotscooter, XXL-Kraken and Rock & Roller are of course also included.

Fireworks Display and beer gardens at the Berlin folk festival summer

Don't worry if you're hungry: There are several beer gardens and numerous food trucks with familiar and new delicacies on the festival grounds. Other highlights every year are the giant fireworks displays, which start at 10 pm on Saturdays and colorfully illuminate the sky above the central fairground.
