The largest folk festival in Berlin, formerly the German-French Fair, attracts visitors with amusement rides, live music and culinary delicacies.

Evolving from the popular German-French Fair, the "Berliner Volksfestsommer" promises a fun day out for friends, couples and families. This year, the funfair takes place for the 59th time already.

60 Rides for Young and Old Visitors

The folk festival promises lots of entertainment with fast-paced roller coasters and many rides. Some highlights of the fair include the "High Explosive Adventure Rollercoaster" the "XXL Octopus", the "Poseidon Water Ride", and "Pharaoh's Revenge".

Gourmet Village and Fireworks Display

At the center of the festival is the so-called gourmet and party village. Here, hungry guests are delighted with delicacies such as tarte flambée, Thuringian grilled sausage and hand bread. Another annual highlight are the giant fireworks displays that will illuminate the sky above the fairground on four Saturdays.
