Berlin's largest Oktoberfest takes place at the central fairground on Kurt-Schumacher-Damm.
The brass band and Bavarian specialties such as pork knuckle, chicken, Leberkäs, pretzels, and radishes create a genuine Oktoberfest atmosphere in the 80 x 20 meter Original Paulaner tent. And, of course, everything is decorated and furnished in Bavarian style for the 70th Berlin Oktoberfest.
The Berlin Oktoberfest has been organized by the Schaustellerverband Berlin e.V. (Berlin Showmen's Association) since 1949. The "Berliner Wies'n" offers attractions for the whole family from 50 showmen: bumper cars, break dance, slides, the Seesturmbahn, children's carousels, raffles, claw machines, darts, ball throwing, shooting galleries, and food options ranging from sweet to savory.
Every Wednesday is Family Day at Oktoberfest on the Central Fairgrounds, with half-price admission to all carousels and rides.
