Cancelled indefinitely
The three-day fashion and lifestyle event takes place at the Arena Berlin and is open to the public.

After filing for insolvency in 2014 the fashion trade show emerged in a new design in September 2016. The new owner - online fashion retailer Zalando - has reshaped Bread & Butter from a trade fair for professionals into a public fashion event, taking place at the Arena Berlin in the Treptow district.
Fashion shows, music and street food at Bread & Butter
The lifestyle event includes interactive fashion shows, brand presentations, exhibitions and talks on the digital future of fashion, to which bloggers and fashion experts are invited to Berlin. Visitors will not only discover the latest fashion trends, but also street food from all over the world and new talent on stage. Musical entertainments include Princess Nokia, Yung Hurn, Stefflon Don, Hamza, Sheck Wes, Tiffany Calver, Evian Christ, and many more.
History of Bread & Butter
Bread & Butter was founded in 2001. Until the year 2003, Bread & Butter took place in Cologne but moved to Berlin in January of the same year. From July 2005 Barcelona became the second location of Bread & Butter alongside Berlin. From July 2007 to January 2009, the tradeshow was held exclusively in Barcelona. In July 2009 Bread & Butter returned to Berlin with biannual shows at Tempelhof Airport. After the January 2015 event was cancelled in 2014, Bread & Butter filed for insolvency in December. In 2015 the fair was acquired by Berlin-based online fashion company Zalando.
