At the Sunday for the Staatsoper event at the Dussmann KulturKaufhaus, visitors can enjoy live music and get a glimpse into the Berlin Children's Opera House.

For the 20th time, the department store Dussmann, in collaboration with the Freunde der Staatsoper, is hosting a Sonntag für die Staatsoper (English: Sunday for the State Opera). The program features performances by musicians from the Staatskapelle Berlin and other artists from the State Opera. Visitors can look forward to works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonín Dvořák, Richard Wagner, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini and Johann Strauss, among others. In addition, Julia Rohrbeck, director of the Berlin Kinderoperhaus (English: Children’s Opera House), will join children and parents in a roundtable discussion to provide insights into the work of the Children’s Opera House.
