Volksbad at the Volksbühne

With the Volksbad, a temporary swimming pool will be set up in front of the Volksbühne for eight weeks.

To kick off the new artistic directorship at the Volksbühne, Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz will be transformed into a public swimming pool for eight weeks. At its heart is a 25-meter-long swimming lane, open to the public free of charge. The program is complemented by swimming lessons for children, swimming days for various communities, and a series of discussions and educational activities. The result is an open meeting place for neighbors, theater enthusiasts and anyone looking to cool off in the heart of the city.

Free time slot tickets

Time-slot tickets for the public pool can be booked online starting August 4. The ticket grants access to the swimming pool and lounge area for two hours at a time. The time slots are always published three days before the respective swimming day.
