In 2025, a new, atmospheric Christmas market was held for the first time on Wittenbergplatz, in the immediate vicinity of the famous KaDeWe department store.

The new Christmas oasis attracts visitors with stylish white pagoda tents and a particularly festive atmosphere. Before or after an extensive shopping experience at KaDeWe, the Christmas market invites you to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy. If you are looking for a special Christmas present, you are sure to find it too.

Fundraising campaign, stage shows and winter beer

The market is under the patronage of the Governing Mayor of Berlin. Celebrity guests are collecting donations for the Berliner Kältebus and the Berliner Aidshilfe. The market also serves Berlin winter beer from the Berg brewery. Occasional stage shows round off the program.
