The Christmas bazaar of the Federal Foreign Office attracts visitors with curiosities from all over the world.

Every year, the Federal Foreign Office organizes a cozy Christmas market in the building's atrium in Mitte that has long since ceased to be an insider tip. While Christmas decorations and typical treats invite visitors to linger, the Christmas bazaar's unusual stalls are the main draw.

Souvenirs from Around the World

The assortment consists of souvenirs from all over the world that employees have discovered during their travels. Jewelry, handicrafts, pictures, textiles and all kinds of curiosities can be purchased at the Christmas bazaar. Visitors can not only look forward to unusual gift ideas, but can also do some good: All proceeds from the sale will go to the charity association "Eine Welt im Auswärtigen Amt e.V.", which promotes micro-projects in developing countries.
