Every year during Advent, a Christmassy trunked animal invites you to the Christmas market in Preußenallee.

The mascot of this Christmas market a bicycling, talking elephant called Jochen. The family-friendly market attracts young visitors with an exciting falconry demonstration featuring free-flying birds of prey. Meanwhile, parents can check out the arts and crafts mall and pick up last-minute Christmas gifts. The musical ensemble of jazzing Santa Clauses will put all visitors in the mood for the approaching festivities by playing "Jingle Bells", "White Christmas" and other Christmas classics.
