A well-rounded mix of arts and crafts, festive music and charitable causes characterizes the small and cozy Christmas market in Gatow.

Unusual goods are presented at the Gatow art and crafts Christmas market. Around 40 artisans offer their handmade products for sale - and you are sure to find an original Christmas gift or two among them. In addition, local associations and initiatives present their work and the history of Gatow.

Music and dancing at the Gatow Christmas market

Every year, the Imchen Kombo from the Kladower Forum plays lively swing or blues tunes in the church. Children can warm up with a little dance workshop in the afternoon. As evening falls, however, things become more contemplative: even the last visitor gets into the Christmas spirit during the Advent carol singing.

Light of Peace from Bethlehem in Gatow

This year, the Gatow church is once again taking part in the Light of Peace campaign. The candle lit in Bethlehem is transported by plane to Vienna. From there it travels by train to Germany and is passed on to others. At the end of the Christmas market, every visitor receives a copy of the Light of Peace.
